Recently, NMS has successfully won the bid for Laotian Nam Theun 1 Hydropower Station sand and Gravel system project of Sinohydro Bureau 3 Co., Ltd., which is another cooperation between NMS and Sinohydro Bureau 3 Co., Ltd. after the aggregate project of Keleta Hydropower Station in Guinea. This time, NMS will provide a total of nearly 20 sets of complete equipment for the project, including feeding, crushing, screening and electric control devices, which fully proves our company’s strong strength in the field of crushing and screening.

Laotian Nam Theun 1 Hydropower Station is located on the Nam Theun River in Bolikhamxai Province in central Laos. It is a first-class (1) type project. The dam is a roller compacted concrete dam with a maximum height of 177 meters. The hydropower station has a maximum capacity of 2.02 billion cubic meters, a design flow of 514 cubic meters per second, and a total installed capacity of 650 megawatts, of which 520 megawatts are sent to Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) and 130 megawatts to Electricite Du Laos (EDL). The sand and gravel processing system of the hydropower station consists of coarse crushing workshop, soil screening workshop, pre-screening medium crushing workshop, fine crushing workshop, ultra-fine crushing workshop, first screening workshop and second screening workshop. On the basis of the existing system, nearly 20 sets of complete equipment such as feeding, crushing, screening and electric control devices shall be added. The system has a processing capacity of 750t/h and adopts the full dry method for production and the spraying method for dust reduction treatment. The system will provide all construction sand and gravel for Laotian Nam Theun 1 Hydropower Station.
It is reported that NMS won the bid at a time when the epidemic situation suddenly appeared. The delivery date of the first batch of products also coincided with the critical period of the prevention and control of current epidemic situation. As the first company to be approved to resume production in Wanli District, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, NMS has made concerted efforts to ensure the safe and orderly production under the premise of strictly implementing the epidemic prevention and control regulations and measures. Recently, the first batch of equipment for the project has been loaded and delivered to the project site, and other equipment will be loaded and delivered in succession, which will facilitate the construction of Laotian Nam Theun 1 Hydropower Station in the near future.
