For the Youth! Outstanding Students from Central South University Got NMS Scholarship

Recently, the School of Minerals Processing and Bioengineering (SMPB) of Central South University (CSU) has held 2022 Award Ceremony. In total, 34 students have received “NMS Outstanding Scholarship” and the “NMS Strive Scholarship”. Yang Zhenghai, NMS Vice President & General Manager of the Domestic Market, and Tian Tian, HR Manager, representing at the ceremony and presenting awards to the winners.  

Since 2018, NMS has founded scholarships at SMPB at CSU, donating tens of thousands of yuan annually to reward undergraduates, masters, and doctors with excellent moral and academic performance. The aim is to provide practical action to support society, China’s higher education, and help the university cultivate new forces for promoting social progress.

NMS attaches great importance to industry, university and research cooperation, actively introduces and cultivates young scientific research talents, and strives to build a platform. For a long time, NMS has maintained close cooperation with university teams such as CSU, East China Jiao Tong University, China University of Mining and Technology, and Jiangxi University of Technology, accelerating the application and transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and cultivating high-level personnel for the enterprise. In 2020, NMS was approved to establish a municipal doctoral research and innovation center, a provincial post-doctoral innovation practice base, and in 2022, it was also approved to establish a national post-doctoral research workstation. The achievements of NMS in technological innovation, scientific research management, achievement transformation, and high-end talent cultivation were fully recognized.

Based on the intellectual support provided by high-quality talents, as of now, NMS has obtained nearly 500 patents, participated in the compilation of multiple national and industry standards, and developed a full range of crushing, screening, and feeding equipment that meet the requirements of sand & aggregates and metal mines as well as supporting products like environmental protection, dust removal, and sand & aggregates recycling. It is one of the companies with the richest product range in the industry. In addition, NMS has been recognized as a “national high-tech enterprise”, “national specialized and sophisticated little giant” “provincial technology center”, “Mineral Processing Equipment Engineering Technology Research Center of Jiangxi Province”, and “Intelligent Manufacturing Pilot Demonstration Enterprise of Jiangxi Province”, and has won multiple honors.

Talents are the first resource. NMS will continue focusing on building a cultivation mechanism that is conducive to talent growth, continuously improving talent cultivation, evaluation, flow, and incentive mechanisms, further unleashing talents’ the creativity in leading innovative development, and empowering NMS to continuously achieve high-quality development.

On the same day, NMS scholarship meeting was also held. During the meeting, the award-winning students spoke enthusiastically and expressed their confusion. NMS leaders shared their career development plans, employment choices, and other suggestions with everyone based on their own experience. They encouraged students to cherish their existing good times, study hard, and strive to become the talents needed by the industry, making contributions to the development of the industry and society.
