On September 8, the launching meeting of lean management project of Nanchang Mineral Systems Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “NMS”) was successfully held. NMS will work with Shenzhen HUAZHI Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Shenzhen HUAZHI”) to promote lean management, help NMS improve its lean management and boost its development.

At the kick-off meeting, Wang Shugong, General Manager of Shenzhen HUAZHI & Director of lean management project delivered a speech entitled “lean management is imperative”, focusing on the lean thinking mode under the current business environment and the aspects need attention during the implementation of lean. Gong Youliang, President of NMS said in his speech that it was the direction and goal of NMS to achieve the best of products on the basis of eliminating waste. All NMS employees should work with the attitude of “doing lean with perfection”.
How to better promote lean management, he put forward three suggestions: first, attach great importance to the sorting and improvement of processes for regulation, how to implement them in place after sorting out the processes clearly, and how to ensure the implementation of strategies. It is necessary to establish standards, realize standardized management, and continuously improve iterations in practice to match the development speed and scale of the enterprise. Second, strengthen personnel training. Talents are the foundation of enterprise development and the key factor for the success and sustainability of this lean project. Enterprises should take talents as the core, cultivate management talents who understand lean and good management, and improve team management. The third is result oriented. All actions put into practice should be reflected in the production indicators, the effectiveness of lean should be measured by effect, and the actual results should be pursued while promoting the work according to the schedule.
Li Qiang, member of lean group and Deputy General Manager of NMS Production & Delivery Center, stressed that promoting lean management should start from changing thinking and all staff participation, so as to continuously improve and achieve the purpose of improving product quality and reducing cost. The starting point of lean is improvement and the end point is persistence. We should cultivate lean talents, make everyone have the determination not to land, not to complete and not to give up, integrate lean ideas into practical work, and “do, really and seriously”, so as to ensure achievements and contribute to the development of the enterprise.
