Congratulations! Shaanxi Steel Group’s Hanzhong Iron and Steel Co.,Ltd Successfully Starts Production of 2 Million Tons Annual Dolomit Project

Recently, Shaanxi Steel Group’s Hanzhong Iron and Steel Co.,Ltd completed and successfully started the production of its 2 million tons annual dolomite project. The entire set of main equipment for this project was provided by Nanchang Mineral Systems Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “NMS”)

It is understood that Shaanxi Steel Group is a subsidiary of Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group Co,.Ltd and a key enterprise in the steel industry in Shaanxi. The dolomite project of Hanzhong Iron and Steel Co.,Ltd, a subsidiary of Shaanxi Steel Group, is located in Jinquan Town, Mian County, Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province. It stands as a demonstrative project showcasing intensive, intelligent, and green development of mineral resources in Hanzhong City and Mian County.

The crushing process of the project adopts a two-stage closed-circuit design with a designed production capacity of 900 t/h. The main equipment includes NMS’s HPF rod feeder, JC jaw crusher, 2 HS impact crushers, 2 HFS high-frequency screens, 5 YKR series circular vibrating screens, and 10 GZG series self-synchronous inertial vibrating feeders.

The project’s raw materials are transported through the HPF rod feeder to the JC jaw crusher for primary crushing, then enter a large buffer silo. Afterward, they are conveyed by a conveyor belt to 2 HS impact crushers for secondary crushing. The crushed material is screened by 2 circular vibrating screens, resulting in one type of finished product. The remaining material is further screened by 2 circular vibrating screens and then subjected to screening by 2 HFS high-frequency screens, ultimately producing 5 different grades of finished aggregates. The finished products include 0-3mm, 3-5mm, 5-10mm, 10-20mm, and 20-30mm premium aggregates, as well as 40-80mm metallurgical materials.

Following collaborations on the Fuping and Jingyang projects with Shaanxi Coal Chemical and New Material Group Co.,Ltd, this marks another collaboration between NMS and Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group Co,.Ltd. Upon completion and operation of the project, it will not only effectively meet the internal industrial flux material needs of Shaanxi Steel Group but also assist Hanzhong Iron and Steel Co.,Ltd in improving quality, reducing costs, and increasing efficiency. Simultaneously, it will secure the supply of construction aggregates in the surrounding area of Hanzhong, further enhancing the overall value of the new energy industry chain and actively contributing to the coordinated development of the regional economy.
