On March 8th, to celebrate International Women’s Day and Arbor Day, Nanchang Mineral Systems (NMS) organized a unique parent-child tree planting event. The activity aimed to strengthen parent-child relationships through tree planting, while fostering children’s awareness of environmental protection and responsibility, making the celebration more meaningful.
The event took place at the NMS High-Performance Intelligent Crusher Key Components Industrialization Project site, which not only added a special commemorative value to the tree planting but also gave participants the chance to experience NMS’s new project up close.
NMS Chairman and CEO Li Shunshan Delivered a Speech
During the opening ceremony, NMS Chairman and CEO Li Shunshan delivered a passionate speech, saying, “Today, we have combined the celebration of Women’s Day, Arbor Day, and a visit to the new factory into one meaningful event, creating a memorable and significant holiday. I would like to especially introduce that the women and children here today are the first true visitors of the new factory. We sincerely hope that each tree you plant will grow alongside NMS’s thriving development and that this special activity will leave a beautiful and lasting memory.”
Speech by NMS High-Performance Intelligent Crusher Project Head Wu Feng
Wu Feng, Head of the High-Performance Intelligent Crusher Key Components Industrialization Project, extended his holiday greetings and best wishes to the women present. He praised the important role of women in both society and family, saying, “Whether at home or in the workplace, women write their own brilliant chapters with resilience, wisdom, tolerance, and dedication. Your contributions deserve our respect and admiration. We are proud of every woman chasing her dreams and striving forward, and we wish each of you continued success on your own stage.
“
Following the speeches, the children, guided by staff, curiously explored the factory, visiting workshops and laboratories to gain a more direct and in-depth understanding of their parents’ company.
Under the guidance of horticulturists, participants carefully selected seedlings, dug holes, and watered the plants. They also hung small nameplates with family names and messages, symbolizing the shared vision of growth. Each participating family received a “Tree Planting Expert” certificate, representing honor and responsibility, marking a successful conclusion to the event.
