Latin American Delegations Visit NMS, Exploring New Opportunities in Mining Equipment Cooperation

On February 28, delegations from the ‘Latin American Green Development and International Cooperation Seminar’ and the ‘Latin American New Industrialization Seminar’ visited Nanchang Mineral Systems Co., Ltd. (NMS). The visit was led by Chen Runyun, Vice President of the Academy for International Business Officials (AIBO) under the Ministry of Commerce, accompanied by Zhang Qianfan, Deputy Director of the Foreign Economic Affairs Division of Jiangxi Provincial Department of Commerce, and Li Yongqiang, Director of the Foreign Trade and Economic Development Division of the Nanchang Municipal Bureau of Commerce. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Sun Jidong, General Manager of the Overseas Market Department of NMS.

During the visit, the delegation toured NMS’s production workshops, laboratories, exhibition halls, and Intelligent Operation and Maintenance Center. The state-of-the-art processing equipment and large-scale machinery in the production workshops left a deep impression, highlighting NMS’s technological prowess and leadership in the mining equipment industry. Delegates eagerly took photos and expressed high praise for the company’s advanced technologies and large-scale product offerings.

Sun Jidong provided an in-depth introduction to NMS’s achievements in international cooperation, particularly in Latin America, as well as its global market strategies. He emphasized that while NMS is actively expanding in emerging markets such as Latin America, it is also strengthening partnerships in developed markets like Europe and North America to drive global growth. Furthermore, NMS is continuously investing in technological innovation and R&D to enhance the technical sophistication and added value of its products, while building a comprehensive service system to meet the global demand for high-quality mining equipment and services.

Chen Runyun, Vice President of AIBO, highlighted that mineral resources are a fundamental pillar of economic development. As a leading enterprise in the mining equipment sector, NMS has grown from a small machinery workshop 55 years ago into a globally recognized mining equipment manufacturer. With operations spanning over 60 countries and regions, NMS has demonstrated its strong competitiveness and set an industry benchmark for China’s mining equipment sector.

Chen suggested that seminar participants whose countries require mining machinery and equipment should actively engage with NMS to explore mutually beneficial cooperation opportunities.

This visit not only deepened Latin American delegates’ understanding of China’s mining equipment industry but also laid a solid foundation for future collaboration. NMS reaffirmed its commitment to openness and cooperation, aiming to foster closer ties with Latin American partners and jointly promote the sustainable development of the global mining equipment industry.
