On December 21-22, the 11th Second Board Meeting and Members’ Annual Conference of the Crushing and Milling Equipment Professional Committee (hereinafter referred to as the “Crushing and Milling Committee”) of the China Heavy Machinery Industry Association (CHMIA) was held in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province. The event was hosted by the Crushing and Milling Committee and received strong support from Nanchang Mineral Systems Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Guomao Reducer Co., Ltd., Hunan Jumper Technology Co., Ltd., and Fuzhou Rolling Mill Bearings Co., Ltd. Jisheng Wang, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of CHMIA, attended the conference and delivered an important speech, while Youliang Gong, Chairman of the 11th Board of the Crushing and Milling Committee, gave the opening remarks and delivered the work report.
At the meeting, Jisheng Wang, Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of CHMIA, first expressed sincere gratitude for the active participation of member units. From a macro perspective, he elaborated on the current economic situation and the industry’s performance in revenue and profit, as well as provided a forecast for the industry in 2025. Wang pointed out that the mining machinery market in 2025 will present a mixed picture. The non-ferrous metal industry will show steady growth, the steel mining sector will have a promising future, but coal mining machinery must accelerate its transformation. The building materials industry faces significant challenges and may rely more on exports. He emphasized that high-tech products focused on intelligence, low carbon, efficiency improvement, cost reduction, and safety will have broad development prospects.

Regarding the future work direction of the association, Jisheng Wang proposed comprehensive and in-depth guidance. He emphasized the importance of drafting the “14th Five-Year” development plan, aiming to improve the industry environment, expand the industry scale, and promote high-quality development. Additionally, he suggested that enterprises follow the principle of “Five Musts and Five Must-Nots” in their operations: strive for quality (low-risk) orders, avoid maliciously grabbing orders that lead to losses and risks; pursue profitable revenue, avoid overemphasis on revenue size at the cost of potential risks; pursue cash profits, avoid focusing solely on profit amount and margin while neglecting receivables security; ensure good cash flow, avoid turning cash into inventory and receivables; make prudent investments, avoid blindly following trends with limited funds and resources, thus preventing major risks. He also mentioned that international development, the development of new types of productivity, precision service implementation, and strengthening the association’s development should be key focuses for the association’s future work.
Youliang Gong, Chairman of the 11th Board of the Crushing and Milling Committee, delivered a speech and presented the “Work Report of the 11th Board of the Crushing and Milling Equipment Professional Committee.” He summarized the achievements of 2024, pointed out existing issues, and provided expectations and suggestions for the work in 2025. Gong emphasized the importance of seizing policy opportunities to drive industry upgrades, strengthening standardization, improving industry regulations, optimizing member services, and enhancing cohesion within the committee.
