Jilin University Students Visit NMS: A Summer Dream Journey

From August 1st to 3rd, a group of 15 students from Jilin University visited Nanchang Mineral Systems Co., Ltd. (hereinafter to as “NMS”) for a three-day summer camp. These students were recipients of the NMS Scholarship. The event was personally led by Zheng Fusheng, the Party Secretary of the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Jilin University. The camp aimed to deepen cooperation and exchange between the university and the company, broaden the students’ professional horizons, and enhance their understanding and planning for their future careers.

By visiting the company’s production workshops, intelligent operation and maintenance center, laboratory, and patent wall, the students gained a direct understanding of the manufacturing process and fully appreciated the concept that “innovation is the primary driving force of productivity.

In the alumni exchange session, outstanding Jilin University alumni employed at NMS shared their experiences transitioning from campus to the workplace and their personal journeys in facing challenges. They also offered valuable career planning advice to the students. The sincere sharing and suggestions from the alumni deeply inspired the students, filling them with confidence and anticipation for the future.

The enthusiasm of the Jilin University students remained high throughout the R&D and production-themed lectures. They attentively listened to NMS lecturers and experts as they delved into cutting-edge industry technologies, intelligent manufacturing trends, and corporate strategic planning. The students actively asked questions, demonstrating a strong desire for knowledge and a deep concern for their personal growth and future development.

With cheerful group photos, the three-day NMS summer camp came to a successful conclusion.
