A Visit to NMS Was Led by Dean of College of Mechanical & Power Engineering of CTGU for Survey and Research

On July 9th, Chairman of NMS Li Shunshan and other people warmly received a visiting group led by Dean of College of Mechanical & Power Engineering of China Three Gorges University Wu Haihua for survey and research.

In these seminars, NMS’ relevant persons responsible introduced such information as corporate development history, business model, and current state of operations, which enables everyone to acquire deep understanding of situations of NMS. Simultaneously, they started with the background of intelligent development in this industry, elaborated driving factors in constructing intelligent mines, and introduced the system of NMS’ intelligent crushing and screening solutions emphatically and displayed actual application cases to mirror that NMS’ intelligent solutions can help clients improve quality, lower cost, and increase efficiency. Furthermore, they also explained NMS’ jaw crushers, pointed out users’ pain points, and came up with new ideas of and plans for solving these pain points.

Subsequently, both sides exchanged views on school-enterprise cooperation in scientific research projects and talent cultivation, etc.

Wu Haihua, Dean of College of Mechanical & Power Engineering of China Three Gorges University, introduced that CTGU comprised the University of Hydraulic and Electric Engineering /Yichang and the former Hubei Sanxia College, was built by the Ministry of Water Resources and the People’s Government of Hubei Province in a joint effort, and was one of universities implementing “Outstanding Engineer Education and Training Program” approved by Ministry of Education of PRC. He pointed out that NMS was closely followed developmental direction of this time, strongly promoted technical innovation, and combined traditional equipment with intelligent technology to improve levels of product intelligence, which was a vivid embodiment of the response to China’s call for the development of new quality productive forces. All the time, CTGU insisted on the fundamental task of “fostering integrity and promoting rounded development of people” and deemed cultivating “high-quality, capable, and specialized” applied talents as a goal. The key stage of applied talent cultivation was practice which couldn’t occur without industry-university-research collaboration with enterprises so CTGU must fully understand enterprise demands, implemented cooperative projects, achieved solid results, and cultivated a student as somebody useful for enterprises and society. He wished that the next step was establishing a long-term partnership with NMS in industry-university-research activities, utilizing respective advantages, making mutual contribution, developing together and endeavoring to achieve school-enterprise cooperation and a win-win situation between industries and universities.

Chairman of NMS Li Shunshan indicated that higher-educational institutions are main battlefields for talent cultivation and enterprises technical innovation sources. He also stated that the combination between enterprises and higher-educational institutions could achieve the situation of resource sharing and leveraging complementary strengths and could boost rapid transformation from technological achievements into market application. CTGU had professional talent groups and profound technological accumulation. And NMS had practical demands and solid product manufacturing capacity. He believed that the strong combination was an effective measure to boost technological achievement transformation and to produce corporate new quality productive forces. NMS was willing to establish efficient cooperation with CTGU, sped up gathering first-class talents and innovation resources, opened up a new high-quality development path for enterprises, and collectively cultivating high-level and compound talents in this industry.
