NMS Co-organized the 13th National Mining Frontier Technology and Equipment Selection Conference

From April 20^th to 21^st, the 13^th National Mining Frontier Technology and Equipment Selection Conference was held in Nanchang, the Hero City. Nanchang Mineral Systems Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “NMS”) was invited to attend it as the co-organizer of the conference.

With the theme of “Innovatively selection of frontier technologies and construction of green and smart mines”, this conference was co-sponsored by JiangXi University of Science and Technology and China Nerin Engineering Co., Ltd and other units. The conference specially invited academicians at the CAE Sun Chuanyao, Shen Zhengchang, and Pan Yishan to make meeting reports. About 500 people attended the conference who are from domestic and foreign universities, scientific research institutes, mining enterprises, financial investment agencies, and equipment manufacturing companies.

At the opening ceremony of the conference, Liu Min, vice president of NMS, pointed out in his speech, NMS is a local company in Nanchang, founded in 1970 and listed on the main board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange on April 10, 2023. NMS is actively carrying out large-scale, efficient, intelligent and digital transition of crushing and screening equipment. Based on intelligent operation and maintenance platform, it can provide customers with digital delivery and integrated operation and maintenance services to boost customers’ quality improvement, cost reduction and efficiency increase. Meanwhile, NMS vigorously promote industrialized projects of key accessories for high-performance intelligent crushers and intelligent transformation and construction projects for factories to accelerate the transition from a manufacturing enterprise to a manufacturing and service enterprise, and to boost five NMS’ projects: Technology NMS, Quality NMS, International NMS, Service NMS and Benefit NMS.

He said that the convened conference provided everyone with a platform for communication, learning and sharing. “I believe that we will be able to spark sparks of wisdom, to inspire more innovation and creativity than before, and to boost the development of this industry through this conference. NMS also hopes to establish close partnership with everyone, to realize advantage complement, and to jointly promote progress in this industry.”

Hu Longjie, NMS’ China Region General Manager of the Mining department, delivered a special report titled “Coping with Realistic Challenges, How Chinese Manufacturers Maintain Competitiveness” at the mineral processing venue. The report focused on four parts: policy drive, opportunities and challenges, solutions, and achievement display. He mentioned, with the implementation of a series of national policy programs to support and promote the equipment updating in the industrial field, accelerating the development of new quality productive forces is a hot issue at present and Chinese manufacturing has a huge market potential but it faces challenges.

Looking through the mining industry, foreign import brands still occupy the main market in key field. Our domestic brands need to avoid vicious competition, realize that equipment updates are not just simple equipment replacements, and focus more on the pursuit of their own technological innovation and quality improvement than before, thereby strengthening customers’ recognition of Chinese manufacturing. Therefore, focusing on accelerating the development of new quality productive forces, NMS has made great efforts in boosting technological research and development, providing scientific solutions, improving product systems, upgrading processing and manufacturing capabilities, and improving full life cycle services to pursue meeting customers’ high-end needs with high-end quality and professional services and to be committed to building a “Chinese manufacturing” brand with more international influence than before.

Based on continuous efforts, NMS’ products and services have been recognized by more customers than before. Large crushing and screening products have been successfully used in projects with large state-owned enterprise such as BENSTEEL GROUP, PANGANG GROUP, HAIGANG GROUP, BAOGANG GROUP, BAOWU GROUP, SINOSTEEL GROUP, ANGANG GROUP and CNMC. These products and services are not inferior to counterparts with foreign brands in competition and similar projects, demonstrating that Chinese manufacturing brands have become internationally competitive.

Sun Chuanyao and Shen Zhengchang, academicians at the CAE, respectively visited NMS’ booth and provided guidance.

During the conference, constant inquiries occurred at NMS’ booth.

On the evening of the 20^th April, the “NMS Night” appreciation dinner was arranged. Hu Longjie, NMS’ China Region general manager of Mining department, gave a welcome speech on stage. Many lucky guests won prizes during the lottery.

On the afternoon of the 21^st, attended guests visited NMS and had a deep understanding of the company’s developmental history, production processes, experimental sites and intelligent operation and maintenance capability.
